Look upon the cost of your website as an investment in your business; one that will save you time and money on certain tasks (e.g. sending customers details of new products by post is no longer necesary, product manuals can be accessed online etc) and allow you to sell your products / services to a wider geographical area.
After many years of web design we know that cheap web packages do not work for many of our clients. Such packages like 3 web pages for £199 may look tantalising, but in reality they are a waste of money. Overall you end up spending far more money.
Our philosophy is start as you mean to go on. Set your website up correctly at the very beginning and it will grow at the pace you require it without the need for paying additional money to a web designer each time you need a new page added.
All of our customers' websites are based on our own software that we have developed. It is extremely easy to use and it puts YOU in control of your website - creating categories, pages, uploading images, checking stats, backing up the database etc.
We design each website individually starting from a basic framework; so we can't give you an idea on price until we know; exactly what you are looking for and how much input you will be providing with regard to copy. As a rule of thumb the basic starting price for a website is somewhere between £500-£1000 using one of our existing frameworks which we will configure to suit your requirements.
If you wish us to create pages using your own copy or transfer your existing website content over, we can do that for you; as a guide each page costs between £15 & £30 - the price depends on the number of words and images per page. A page with many photographs will cost more as each image has to be copied over and resized and sharpened etc.
The more information you provide us with at the beginning the more accuarte our quote.
Oh yes, don't be afraid to tell us your budget, that way we can quickly tell you if what you are looking to achieve is within or outside your budget. We understand some people are reluctant to tell us their budget, but buying a website is no different to buying anything else. Take buying a car for instance, you walk into a car showroom you know what your budget is and have a rough idea of the model and specification you want. If you didn't tell the car salesperson your budget they wouldn't be able to tell you if you can get the car you want for the money you are prepared to spend.
Ongoing customer support contracts for your website are also available upon request.
