Designing Your website
We follow this simple procedure:
Ask you some simple questions - this is to get to you to think and focus about your website and what you want it to do and achieve. Also ithelps us to understand the type of business you have and the market you operate in.
At this stage we will ask you if you have a budget in mind - the reason we ask this is so we can immediately tell you if what you want to achieve is possible on the budget you have. It saves wasting both yours and our time in pursuing something that just is not possible if the budget will not allow it.
We know a lot of people are reluctant to provide a budget at this stage as they think we will just quote a figure that is the same as your budget. Well the founder of A Wee Click, Andrew Leonard offers his personal guarantee that all quotations are calculated on an individual basis and that they are not immediately matched to the client's budget.
Provide You With A Quote And Synopsis Of Our Proposal For Your Site - we will read through your answers and formulate a proposal for your website based upon your answers. We will then provide a written quotation - it will not be a fixed price as from our past experience we know things change as the design goes along. What we will provide you with is a lower and upper figure for designing your website. Throughout the design of your website we will inform you of the costs incurred so far.
The Design Begins Upon Acceptance Of Our Quote - upon accepting our quote (and if you are a new client, the payment of a deposit) the design phase begins.
The first stage is to create a design for your website showing the overall theme as well as a menu structure. This is a discussion document and will formulate the platform to create the actual website itself.
Draft Website - once the design layout and menu structure are agreed, we will create a working copy of your website on our test server. This allows us to fully test the website and make any modifications that are required. Once this has been approved by you will we move the website over to the "live" server for launching and a final test.
Publish Your Websites - this is the final stage which is only undertaken once you are happy with the website created in the "Draft Website" stage. This is where we upload your completed website to a live server and then link it to your domain name.
